L’Orfeo Barockorchester under Michi Gaigg give authentic performances of five rarely-heard symphonies by the great operatic reformer Christoph Willibald Gluck. Comparable with the music of Haydn and Mozart, the Symphonies are tasteful, emotional, wonderfully crafted, and well worth discovering by all music lovers.
